SKIM CAMP'S
Mini Session
The mini session is a half day clinic from 9am-12pm, Mon-Wed offering the same type of instruction as our full sessions condensed into a shorter less extensive day. Beginners to advanced skimmers will be accepted. We strongly encourage younger and first time skimmers to attend this session. The mini session will not provide food or end with a mini contest.
COST: $175.00
Held at South Side of the Indian River Inlet in the DE State Seashore Park.
Monday, Tuesday, Wed.
9am-11:30am: Loosin up, Stretch, Free Skim Warm Up, Group instruction at stations.
11:30am-12pm:Free Skim session with counselors.
12pm: Camp ends, parents pick up.

Full Sessions
Just like last year, our full week camps will be held at the South Side of Indian River Inlet. The week consists of skim instruction, demonstration, and practice mixed with beach activities and plenty of summer time fun. Food, drink, and shade is provided. The week concludes with a mini-contest, which gives campers the opportunity to compete in a SKIM USA contest format and show off their new skills to their parents and counselors.
COST: $300.00
Held at South side of Indian River Inlet State Park. Drop off at empty ticket booth at 9am where an Alley-oop counselor will be waiting.
Monday - Thursday

12pm-1pm: Lunch
1pm-3pm: Skim session with counselors, One on one help, Free Skim, Beach Activity.

4pm: Parents pick up at empty ticket booth.
Friday
Parents are invited and encouraged to stay for camp contest.

10am-12pm: Camp Contest (Parents pick up after contest if not already there)
12pm-1pm: Meet at Big Mikes Frozen Tundra for lunch, camp awards, camp t-shirt. Camp ends.

Advanced Session
Our advanced sessions are only open to campers that we have invited from previous camps and children over the age of 12. The advanced session is a full session that is mobile to go wherever the waves are best in our Alley-Oop limo. We will focus our time on advanced instruction and demonstration. Campers will get the opportunity to use the Alley-Oop skim rail, the Grinch, and to watch footage of themselves skimboarding to help them progress. Miles Grobman or Brandon Rothe will be guest pro instructers during these weeks of camp. The advanced sessions are limited to 15 campers.
COST: $400.00
Drop off and pick up will be at the Alley-oop store at 9am and 4pm. The schedule of camp will be subject to wave conditions and tides. Two meals will be provided just like the full session.
